DIY
Dancing Shoes
I ended up stamping each pair with our monogram and date. I wanted to make the most out of the stamp I had made and i figure no one would really care if they had it on flip-flops where they wouldn't see it when they were wearing them. aI bought flip-flops from Hobby Lobby when they were half off. I think I have 50 pairs. I used StazOn and a stamp I got off ebay. The stays on stamp cleaner was a life saver because if I messed up i could just white the stamp off and do it again (it left a little mark behind but barley noticeable when you stamped over it). It took a LOT of practice but I finally got it down (ink the stamp, blot of paper, stamp the flip-flop). I printed the size tags and cut them using a paper punch.
Serving Set and Toasting Flutes
I saw these on etsy for $80.00 and decided to copy them. $30.00 later and they are done! I even like them better than the ones I saw!
Hanging P'sTheses...well...they were my attempt at making a cake topper from scratch. It didn't work so well but I'll figure out a way to use them. If I could have found better sized pearls and stronger wire they may have worked.
Pearl Hair CombThis was super easy, super fast, and looks really nice. I think I may make one for all of the bridesmaids. This one may be destine for the flower girl.

Cake TopperI bought the wooden topper from Crafty Eddie and filled in the wood grain with putty. I sanded it down and spray painted it. It looks like metal! I wanted to cover it in pearls but it would have ended up being like $60 and it just wasn't worth it to me.
NapkinsThese were another excuse to use my stamp. I am going to do some ivory ones too. I used StazOn ink and my stamp from eBay.

Bride's Bracelet
Flower Girl Pearls
This was so easy and turned out so nice. I looked all over for a set of pearls for a 4 year old and coudn't find any I liked. A trip to Michael's and Hobby Lobby yeilded a really nice set of pearls. I also managed to find a box with the often-ignored Disney Princess Jasmin on it. She is the flower girl's favorite!

Garters
I found my inpiration for these on etsy. However, I was able to make a toss garter and my garter exactly how I wanted them for 1/10 the price of just one on it (I made the centers using all the extra pearls I had!)
Pens for Advise/Wish Cards
Kids Tote Bags
I decorated these bags for the only two children who will be at the wedding. They are filled with things to keep them busy at the reception (see attendant gifts) and will be found at each of their chairs. I used iron on patches, ribbon and even hand dyed the teal one!
Block Box
Not a complete DIY but I spent hours clear coating the box and sanding and clear coating and sanding that I felt it need to be on here....it when into the avove tote bag.

Monogrammed Banner This banner is going to hang off the balcony at our ceremony location. I painted on taffeta with custom mixed acrylic metallic paint. Here are a few things I learned: Metallic paint and shiny material don't mix. I had to use 3 coats of paint and back the fabric with felt and you can still see some of the paintbrush strokes. Also, if you are going to line things with ribbon, pick the ribbon first and match your paint color to it. Doing it the other way around is impossibly challenging.

Table BannersI made 3 of these in total. One will be on the guestbook table outside of the ballroom, one will be on the DJ table and one will be in fornt of us at the head table. The tables they will be on are on are rectangular and regular height, not round and short!

Aisle Runner
I used the same technique found in The Road to the Aisle blog, only I did not trace onto the fabric. I found that the pencil lines showed though the metallic paint. I used this same technique to paint the banner below as well as 3 monogrammed table hangings. I included a picture of the brushes I used. I ended up having to use quite a few and I also found that if you get water in the metal part of the brush it is very bad because paint will bleed all over! The runner is officially done and wrapped up. I rolled it as I applied the last side of ribbon so I have to take a picture mid-progress.
Aisle Candles
I made 12 of these with $ Tree vases and some vellum. I printed out signature flower pattern on it and then wrapped the vase. I will be lining our (very short) aisle with hem and using batter operated tea lights to make it safe for my giant dress to swoosh by!
Dog Apparel
I looked high and low for something for the dogs. You know, like wedding appropriate collars, leashes, leash splitter and harnesses and came up empty so I just made them myself!
Bride's Accessory Box
I have collected all of these really nice things to wear on the day but I kept worrying that I was going to forget something. To solve this problem I made a box for all of them to go in so everything stayed together. As cheesy as this is, I even made a satin pillow for everything to sit on!
Groom's Pocket Square
I embroidered this by hand with a quote form "our song".
Veil
This is the first veil I ever made. I decided that because I was going to make not one, but two, veils for myself, I needed to practice. It didn't turn out too bad! Since, I have found that E6000 glue works well to glue beads to veils and is much easier than sewing then on. I also made peace with my sewing machine, which makes thing much easier. We still get into fights but I think counseling has been helping.
If I have used any of your photos and you wish to get the proper credit, let me know an I will make sure to give you it.
